Acid-reflux meds may block B-12

A reader asks the People's Pharmacy if acid-reflux medications can cause a deficiency of vitamin B-12. Joe Graedon and Teresa Graedon recommend that people taking Prilosec, AcipHex, Prilosec, Protonix, or similar meds for four years or more have their vitamin B-12 levels monitored.  Read full story >
