ADHD med Intuniv does well in trials

Shire has announced that a new experimental medication significantly decreased the symptoms of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder in two recent safety and effectiveness trials. Intuniv is a once-daily, non-stimulant medication that has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration yet. Participants taking Intuniv had fewer ADHD symptoms than participants taking placebo.
