Allergies and asthma may offer protection from brain tumors

A study at the University of Texas has shown that allergies and asthma may protect patients from developing three kinds of brain tumors. Researchers also found that patients who use antihistamines may lose this protection because it is the inflammation caused by asthma and allergies that stimulates the immune system to protect the brain.
