Alzheimer's risks may be different for men and women

According to French researchers, men and women may have very different risk factors when it comes to the development of Alzheimer's. Researchers analyzed data on over 7,000 patients, none of whom had dementia when the study began. They found that for women, the crucial factor appeared to be depression, while for men the main risk factor was whether or not they had suffered a stroke.
