Anorexia can lead to osteoporosis

Underweight teens and girls suffering from anorexia can seriously damage their bones and put themselves at risk for osteoporosis. Anorexia patients who have the illness for more than 6 years have an annual fracture rate that is seven-times greater than a healthy woman of the same age.
