Botox injections may ease writer's cramp

The anti-wrinkle treatment Botox may also help ease writer's cramp, new research suggests. Writer's cramp is a form of dystonia, a condition in which muscles in a part of the body contract involuntarily into an abnormal position. Researchers injected Botox into the hands and wrists of people who suffer from writer's cramp. After three months, 70 percent of the patients reported that their condition had improved.
