Can chocolate lower blood pressure as well as meds?

A reader asks Joe and Teresa Graedon of The People's Pharmacy about dark chocolate's ability to lower blood pressure. The reader wonders if chocolate lowers pressure enough that it could replace hypertension meds. Though the Graedons don't recommend patients replace their meds with chocolate, they do give some surprising statistics about how much each option lowers blood pressure.
