Cancer drug Avastin fights brain tumors

The lung and colorectal cancer drug Avastin appears to slow the growth of brain tumors, say researchers from Duke University. In a recent study of 32 people who took Avastin, more than half of them had tumors that had shrunk by 50 percent.
