Experts: Osteoporosis isn't the only fracture risk

Osteoporosis contributes to an average of 1.5 million fractures every year, but experts say doctors and patients may not be giving enough attention to other factors that can lead to bone breaks. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons has compiled this list of factors besides osteoporosis that can contribute to falls and fractures, including vision problems, weight issues, and the use of some medications.
