FDA approves Concerta for adults

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Concerta for adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Previously the stimulant could be prescribed only to children. The FDA approved the drug for adults aged 18 to 65 in doses of 18 to 72 mg daily.
