FDA approves oral-suspension Protonix

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a new oral-suspension version of the acid reflux medication Protonix. The delayed-release suspension can be used by patients who have trouble swallowing tablets. It can be added to applesauce, apple juice, or given through a nasogastric tube.
