FDA warns Exelon drugmaker about misleading claims
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning to
drugmaker Novartis, saying the company has made unjustified claims
about its Alzheimer's medication Exelon. The FDA says Novartis has
overestimated Exelon's effectiveness, given misleading information
on the medication's risks, and is recommending a dose of the med
that has not been approved.
