Generic Depakote approved
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved generic forms of
the anti-seizure drug Depakote. Like its brandname equivalent,
divalproex sodium is approved to treat epilepsy, migraines, and
bipolar disorder. It will also carry the same warnings as Depakote.
