Humira may ease Crohn's fistulas

According to drugmaker Abbott, Humira may heal Crohn's-related fistulas. Fistulas are tunnels that connect the intestines to other parts of the body, such as the skin or the bladder, and up to 43 percent of all Crohn's patients will experience these painful and embarrassing sores. But researchers say that over half of the study participants who took Humira experienced healing and improved quality of life in less than two years.
