Illinois doctor: Laparoscopic hysterectomy less invasive

One obstetrician/gynecologist is recommending a type of hysterectomy that involves less blood loss and quicker recovery time. The laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy uses lighted telescopes to guide the surgeon's work and requires a smaller incision.
