Kids may share caregiving responsibilities

A new survey by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America has found that caregiving extends not just to patients' children, but to their grandchildren as well. The survey found that responsibilities for children between the ages of 8 and 21 often include feeding, dressing, transporting, and entertaining the Alzheimer's patient. The survey also suggested that more than half of all adult respondents were interested in helping their children cope with their loved one's disease.
