Kids with migraines have more sleep woes
Children who suffer from migraines are more likely to have sleep
disorders than children who have non-migraine headaches,
researchers say. In a study of 90 children with headache and sleep
problems, investigators found that children with migraines were
more than twice as likely to have sleep apnea than non-migraine
children. Migraines also caused children to sleep less, to take
longer to fall asleep, and to have shorter REM sleep times.
