Migraine sufferers often delay taking pills to save money

Migraine medication such as Imitrex and Maxalt are most effective if they are taken at the first sign of a headache. Many migraine sufferers delay taking these meds because insurance companies limit the number of pills they will pay for each month. Patients say that they don't want to run out of pills, so they wait to see if a headache develops into a migraine before taking the meds.  Read full story >
