Parkinson's relatives have higher psychiatric risk

A recent study has showed a greater incidence of depressive and anxiety disorders in people who have a close relative with Parkinson's disease. The risk was highest in brothers, sisters, parents, and children of people who developed Parkinson's before age 75. Researchers say this finding suggests a genetic or other relationship between these conditions.  Read full story >
