"Beyond Advair" drug reaches next phase of clinical trials

Drugmaker Theravance has announced that its part of the Beyond Advair Collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has reached the next phase of clinical trials. Theravance's compound, 642444, is being tested to be part of a combination drug with GSK's compound, 159797. The goal of the project is to develop a once-a-day inhaled medication to treat mild to moderate asthma.
