Research firm grades ADHD meds
Stimulants used to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder
received an "A" rating for children and a "B" rating for adults,
according to a company that evaluates the effectiveness of
medications. The company gave Strattera a "B" rating. Hays Inc.
gave a "D" rating to neuropsychological testing used to diagnose
ADHD for low effectiveness. The lead researcher said that there are
few clear conclusions that can be drawn from the research to date
on the best treatment options.
