Researchers to test new treatments for ADHD

Two new research projects will test behavioral therapies and computer games that measure brain activity to determine if either treatment can improve the symptoms of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. One study will focus on children with ADHD who also have mood disorders. Researchers will be testing a combination of educational, behavioral, and psychological therapies to determine the most effective treatment for children with these two problems. In the other study, the researchers will be testing new technology that uses brain waves to guide the controls of a video game.
