Study: ADHD affects adults' work habits
An international study has found that adults with
attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder work 22 days less than
adults without the disorder. Researchers screened more than 7,000
employed and self-employed workers ages 18-44 years for ADHD and
asked about their work habits. People with ADHD were unable to work
or carry out their normal activities for a few days each month and
had several days of reduced work quantity or quality as well.
