Study: Drug combo eases migraines when taken early

migraine headache provides effective relief of pain and other
symptoms for up to 24 hours, two studies suggest. The drug, which
combines the active ingredient in Imitrex with the painkiller
naproxen, was tested in two studies that totaled 1,111 patients.
Researchers found that 50 percent of patients given the combo drug
within an hour of the onset of migraine symptoms were pain-free two
hours after taking the dose, compared to 16 percent of those given
a placebo.
