Study: Glucosamine doesn't help hip arthritis

According to a new study, the popular joint supplement glucosamine doesn't help people who suffer from osteoarthritis (OA) of the hip. Researchers in the Netherlands compared the effects of glucosamine to those of a placebo in 222 hip-OA patients for two years. They found that the joint supplement had no measurable effect on the patients' hip pain or function.  Read full story >
