Study looks at biologic med, cancer link
According to new research, biologic meds used to treat inflammatory
conditions such as Crohn's disease and rheumatoid arthritis do
raise patients' risk of skin cancers, including melanoma. But
researchers say the data also shows that meds like Enbrel and
Remicade do not increase users' risk of developing other cancers or
cancer in general.
