Study: Cannabinoids don't boost serious side effects
Canadian researchers have found that drugs that contain compounds called cannabinoids from the marijuana plant don't increase the risk of serious side effects such as hospitalization, disability, or death. However, the researchers also found these medications did increase the incidence of some non-serious side effects, including dizziness and drowsiness. Cannabinoids have been shown to help treat chronic pain from diseases such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, and fibromyalgia.
