Supreme Court Justice makes plea for Alzheimer's aid

Retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor addressed Congress this week on behalf of Alzheimer's patients and caregivers. O'Connor's husband, John, has the disease and she retired from the court in 2005 in order to care for him. She urged Congress to spend more on Alzheimer's research, and she urged for better support networks for caregivers.
