Why do so many adults have ADHD?
A doctor on the board of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association
offers some ideas about the reasons why so many adults in America
have ADHD. One of her ideas is that people who can think and act
quickly have an evolutionary advantage over people who can't do
that. She also touches on research that has studied genetic causes
of the disorder and the likelihood of parents passing it on to
their children.
