One out of every three asthma patients use their inhalers incorrectly, a new study suggests. Researchers found that 32 percent of patients who use a dry-powder inhaler (DPI) made at least one error when they administered the medicine. Older patients and those who had the most severe symptoms made the most DPI inhalation errors. Experts say you can improve your technique by reading the inhaler's instructions carefully.
