Lipitor, Celebrex may fight prostate cancer

Scientists have found that the cholesterol-lowering drug Lipitor and the painkiller Celebrex may help control prostate cancer. Researchers say the two medicines--when used alone or in combination--may stop early prostate cancer from developing into a more deadly form of the disease. The study was conducted in mice so the drugs' use against this type of cancer isn't yet ready for clinical use, but experts said these preliminary results look promising.
